By

The Dog Days of Summer are back in Los Angeles, CA. In case you are wondering we have been having a new heat wave since late Friday and steadily the heat has been increasing. Needless to say my Assistant came with me to look at a vacant lot in Mount Washington this morning and it was already 87 degrees by 11am so he stayed in the car with the Air Conditioning on.

First we lived in Toluca Lake... Great location near the studios, then MDR! One of the best times of my life, living at the beach! Total different lifestyle and I will never forget it!! We still visit and love to hit Newport Beach Jazz Fest every year!  ~Cari

Hi Endre - Satchmo doesn't look like he wants to relax - he probably wants you to toss that tennis ball for him. Grover still wants to fetch even when it's really hot, but it does affect how long he'll go for.

Last night, Willie had to wait for his walk (a short one, sadly) until around 10:00 pm.  It was still hot and muggy, but at least the sidewalk had cooled to the point that it didn't burn his paws.
