Reacting in the Old Ways

“Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way,

ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a

pioneer of the future.”

Deespak Chopra, Indian-American Physician, Holistic

Heath/New Age Guru

As I see it . . . . . . .

Reacting in the old ways

One of the biggest traps a business professional can fall into . . . . is getting trapped into doing it the same old way . . . . Because it’s the way, you have always done it.

Doing it in the same old way is living in the world of the status quo . . . . and living in the past. In that world you are being left behind by an ever changing business environment . . . . The longer you resist change . . . . and fail to adapt the further you fall behind the business curve. It will increase the odds of experiencing a business failure.

When you live in the world of the past you become a prisoner . . . . of  out of date thinking . . . . and obsolete methods that will no longer support you on your success journey.

Break free of the old ways . . . . When you’ll reacting in the same old ways you become a pioneer of your future.

Lou I totally get it, it is human nature, we react what we have been used to do, going against the tried and proven not necessarily right way is done in spite of it all.    When I was in Ranger School we practiced doing things the "right way" every time it was drilled in our head  when we are under pressure, when we react we will revert back to what we are used to do so if "we practice doing it right" we need not worry, Endre

Lou,  We need to keep up with the times.  I am finally starting to do something I should have done a while back.  There is a learning curve, but I'm up for the challenge.  Thank you for your constant motivation.
