I love the fact that historic homes onn the east coast go back 200 years.  I remember growing up and my friend's home (in New Jersey) dated back to 1820 or something like that.  My parents have a home in NJ that was built in 1908 (coming up on the Centennial).

I lived in Phoenix; historic homes were pre- WW2
