The sixth annual GRAND POINT NORTH MUSIC FESTIVAL at Burlington VT's Waterfront Park September 17 & 18, 2016 is right around the corner. With the planned line up this much anticipated event will not disappoint. Grace Potter, Vermont's well known and loved rock musician will play full sets both nights. Grace Potter and The Nocturnals have been entertaining since first forming their band in Waitsfield, VT in 2002.
They began their career as an indie band, self-producing their albums and touring extensively in the jam bands and music festivals circuit. In 2005 they signed for Hollywood Records; they have published four studio albums, encompassing rock subgenres such as blues rock, folk rock, hard rock, and alternative rock. Their third, self-titled album has been a major commercial success, topping iTunes charts and receiving international attention.
GRAND POINT NORTH music festival, founded by Higher Ground and Potter celebrates local acts, promotes area businesses and has attracted national performing artists, including The Avett Brothers, The Flaming Lips, Trampled By Turtles, and Gov't Mule.

For the fifth year in a row, Grand Point North is proud to offer Grand Point Local, a collection of local restaurants
and local food products for sale This year’s participants include: A-Maize-ing Kettle Corn, Brio Coffeeworks, Caja Madera, Duino Duende, Farmers & Foragers, Green Pasture Meats, Open Hearth Pizza, Pingala, The Skinny Pancake, Southern Smoke, and more.
Doors : Saturday at 3 PM // Sunday at 2 PM. Box office will open at 11 AM each day. Festival is rain or shine.
