A Painting - Weldy School, "Before and After".
As an artist, I am always looking at things differently than most. This photo was taken on the west side of Nappanee, Indiana, just north of Highway 6. The school has since been replaced with a much modern school able to handle more students.

I have been asked on occasion how I was able to create my paintings. In this series I present a photograph that I took of the actual place and the final painting which shows my transition and interpretation between the two.. Most of the paintings were made from, as many as 12 photographs taken from different angles, as well as closeup shots. These are the before and after shots.
