Are You Willing To EARN My Business...??

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams of Central PA RS334568

As a Realtor, I receive MANY marketing calls - sometimes SEVERAL throughout the course of a day...

I am never rude.  I tell EACH one the same thing..."Send me the information in an email and I WILL read it and consider it...
And then I follow by asking, "Do you need my email address...??"
I think I've made their job fairly simple.  I'm willing to provide a means of communication that works best for me - and I've assured them that if they're willing to email me, I WILL read it...

My experience is that less than 1% are willing to go the extra mile to send me an email...

WHY...??

If I had to peel back the layers - we can blame it on being lazy, or unwilling, or lack of care, but I tend to think it is due to

* NOT hearing what's BEST for the potential client *

When I meet a new client, one of my initial questions is: What is YOUR preferred method of communication - Phone? Email? Text?

When trying to EARN business, we must be willing to step beyond and do what's BEST for THE POTENTIAL CLIENT...

After all, my phone is ringing again - perhaps it's another marketer wanting my business and perhaps this one will be willing to do what's necessary to Earn it...

We have to remember, it's not about us, it's about them.  The moment we starting operating our business that best suits us as Realtors is the moment our business declines or stagnates.  Keep up the great work Maria.

That is so true, they want to hook you right now and are not willing to take the risk that even if you are interested in their product or service, another telemarketer may end up with you.

Absolutely! It's about what's best for our clients, not what's best for us. And I always ask for emailed information as well. I work best when I can review the information on my own timeline and make a decision.

Karen Hellier Thank you for your comment - I prefer to review an email from a telemarketer rather than listen to the phone ramble... Yet too few actually follow through -
Cheers to an outstanding day!
