I must confess I am not a big fan of the teams in the American League East....but it is always fun to watch the battle for the division...between the Red sox and Yankees. The Blue Jays always seem to be a solid team that ends up a distant third.

Not this year...the Tampa Bay Rays and the Baltimore Oriels are doing quite well indeed! The Orioles I think will fade...but I am starting to become a believer in the Rays. maybe not this year...but in years to come. Good hitting, good young pitching, and good gloves. If they are willing to spend the money I think they could contend soon!

Maybe parity has finally arrived.  It would be nice to see some competetive battles for championships.  I don't claim any team, but enjoy a competetive competition.

It's been awesome so far!! The Rays have FINALLY realized what's going to make them competitive in the division and the Yankees are struggling with pitching (as all knew they would) and injuries...the sad part is we're only 1/4 into the season....2 months from now we'll be wondering how the O's could be SO FAR out of first after their start.
