Do Not Call

By
Real Estate Agent 40CA1147997

Recently while trying to show a few homes there is a comment in the private remarks to not call or text for any showings but to email for showing instructions. I could understand if they had a showing service but ask to be emailed for the information. This is also fine and I do use MailTrack to see when it has been opened.

Seems some are trying to live up to the reputaion that the general public is giving us and when calling to find out the quote was I do not respond to showings on the phone so email me. He said he had not received the email but the tracker showed he opened it on an Android twelve seconds fter it was sent and a total of six times in a four hour period!

We will peruse the home this evening after a second email and he looked at that four times before responding.

If you are going to be in a position to need a phone and want to be known for customer service do not make it harder than necessary!

well he's not as smart as he thinks he is huh?  Last time someone said they hadn't gotten an email that I knew was open on their phone I aked if they had their phone. Then I asked who had it at 10:11, 10:17 and 10:24? because that's the three times the email they "didn't get" had been opened on their phone.

Good morning Raymond.  Using MailTrack is always a good thing.  Having someone lie or be deceitful is always good also because now one knows what kind of person they are dealing with

Hi Raymond.  It's really hard to understand what some agents are thinking when they do things like this.

I think that agent should use CSS or another showing service since he can't seem to keep up with his email requests!

That's awful Raymond E. Camp hopefully things will improve, your client's offer will be the one chosen and the transaction will go smoothly.  But, you might have to keep an "adult beverage" in mind, during this one - you might need one (or more)!

Hello Raymond

I agree and texting is a great communicating tool when agent don't answer or communicate with their live voice.

Raymond: Making it harder than necessary to preview homes is a sure fire way to ensure the property stays on the market. I like the idea of MailTrack and will be checking it out.

Good morning Raymond E. Camp,

It boggles my mind that a listing agent is making it difficult for showings!! Such a disservice to the sellers!
