Magical Photo

By
Real Estate Agent with Austin Skyline Realty Inc. 650995

I do photography as a hobby and take all my listing photos myself. I pay the same attention to details when I have listing for a rental or a sale.

A long time ago I went to shoot some picture for a rental listing. The door was locked and owners were not home. So not to get I took some outside pictures of the property and left. When the house was placed for rent I used one of those photos as the lead photo.

I have done rentals and for sale in the same area generally in the same price range. It seems that one photo attracted a lot of attention. I got more than fifty leads mostly due to that photo!

It seems that one photo was magical. It wasn’t anything special, no special lighting, just the mid-morning natural light with a tight angle. Even months after the house was rented, I got calls from affiliated sites that still had the listing.

Taste in people is hard to measure and difficult to judge. Don't make any assumption about what sells!
