Serendipity Sunday: Art in the Park
On Friday night we noticed tents going up in the park in Downtown Parker. What was that about, we wondered. Well this morning we found out the answer. Celebrating 15 years of fine art, the Parker Arts Guild was hosting Art in the Park. An exhibition of local artisans in the categories of paint, photography, glass, wood, metal, jewelryy, pottery and more! Admission was free, parking was free and the weather was lovely...no rain (while we were there) and mild temperatures.
We strolled along and admired all the artwork. We made one purchase at the very end of our walk among the artists. We have some wonderfully talented folks in our midst!
I will definitely plan to visit the "show" again next year.
