Worrying Will Drain Your Energy

Worrying is exhausting and a silent killer . . . . It will drain

your energy . . . . and weaken your resolve to push

forward through the real issues. ”

Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant,

Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Worrying will drain your energy

You can spend a lifetime worrying over thing that never was . . . . or never will be. You can also find yourself spend your energy worrying over the things that you can’t control.

Worrying is exhausting and a silent killer . . . . It will drain your energy . . . . and weaken your resolve to push forward through the real issues that you face.

Most of the worrying in life is done over things that don’t matter . . . . and will never be . . .  Or the things that you absolutely have no control over.

When you’re faced with a challenging situation worrying won’t help you to resolve the condition . . . . Worrying actuality has the captivity to make things worse. Instead of worrying step back . . . . and take a mental snap shot of the circumstances . . . . and ask yourself the following.

How important is it for this issue to be resolved?

How does this issue affect you personally . . . . how does the issue affect your life . . . . your career . . . . or your success?

What will happen . . . . if you’re not able to resolve the issue?

What’s the likely outcome . . . . if you do resolve the issue?

What is under your control to change . . . . adjust . . . . or to resolve?

What is out of your ability to control?

What’s your best course of action?

Take the action steps to resolve anything that you feel is important to you . . . . and you have under your control to do.

The best way to eliminate worrying is:

Look at the circumstances from a realistic mindset . . . . and what your options are.

Create a plan and the action steps to resolve the situation . . . . to the best of you ability.

Select the best options . . . . and focus on the solutions not the circumstance.

Take the actions to correct the issue . . . . and move on.

Worrying is exhausting . . . . and is a silent killer . . . . when you give in to worrying. Take the positive actions steps to control the circumstances that you find yourself in . . . . Or the circumstances that you find yourself in will control you.

Worrying will drain your energy . . . .

Good morning Lou, you are absolutely right, worrying doesn't do anything but send us to that dark place where we can't see what's around or ahead of us. Great post and advice. Have a great Monday!

So very true, Lou!  And if it won't REALLY matter in 5 years (or 5 months!), it was not at all worth draining our energy for.

This is so true. Worry can consume our lives if we let it. When I get caught up in worry, I work out. This helps put things into perspective.
