The new 2016 iPhone is expected to launch next Wednesday on September 7. It has been rumored and speculated what the new features and design will be for sometime. Apple does fair amount of sourcing, manufacturing overseas. When small quantity of proto type phones are in pilot line or component receives a large order it is not hard to put two together. While Apple is a leading flag ship in the US with 40% of smart phones. Globally, Apple has just 16% of market shares as more affordable phones are available.
It has been rumored for weeks. The 2016 iphone is an incremental feature enhancement to add as few features each year. Based on past product history, Apple will make a more revolutionary release every other year to keep the technology just above the rest to have a competitive edge. This is a sweet spot as 44% of Americans wish to get a new phone when their service provider 2 year contract expires.
The following is is what the people are speculating before the iPhone 7 is unveiled. Those interested and access write up from Jeff Parsons article under sources below. I may wish to be more intrigued what the futuristic home button will be like. Pressure sensitive seems to make more sense. Today space is lost with today's home button. I can not clean it.
- No headphone jack (No head phone) usb type c ?
- Flush, pressure-sensitive home button
- Improved water resistance from speakers
- Dual-lens camera for iPhone 7+ HTC, LG have it already
- Design similar to iPhone 6s minute curves here and there
- Redesigned antenna bands improve the s/n
- Upgraded processor using A10 (by TSMC)
- More memory start at 32G up to 256G
- Two or three screen sizes 4.7", 5.5" ?

I was one of the last group of realtors equipped with a smart phone as I have not developed a habit fiddle with my phone with my eyes crossed or walk or drive while looking or talk. A phone is just a tool. I need to check my eMail as business comes through eMail more than the phone these days. The fob that goes with eKey making me not to look for Supra key anymore. I use my iPhone for taking photos for initial inspection.

PS: I was never involved in the antenna design of phones. I studied antenna design and whatever gossip on the Internet is some one more famous. I know 6.3" long wire corresponds to 1/4 wave length and will amplifier signals on Galexie. By putting iPhone in a glass will do the trick also.
