Every year I wait for the Chicago Jazz Fest because the night before the Fest the Chicago Jazz Institute is the host for the Chicago Jazz Trolley Tour. The trolleys begin to shuttle you to different Jazz clubs in the City beginning from 7 pm -12 midnight. Here is a sample of what you missed :
