Cooper Gallery of Fine Art has represented many artists in the sale of their original artworks since 1995. Below are some of the artists and their artwork that can be found at the Cooper Gallery.
Max Hayslette, an accomplished painter and commercial designer who was born on a farm in Rupert, WV, in 1930. He had his first art show at the age of 16 in Rainelle, WV. The below art sold today while the gallery was preparing for the opening tomorrow.
Lynn Boggess paints from nature, in the field, as opposed to working in the studio from photographs. He uses 5 different sizes of cement trowel as his brush. He goes out to the backcountry to a spot that moves him, sets up his easel, then camps at the site for several days until his painting is finished. Below are Plein air oil paintings by Lynn Boggess.
Jorn Mork is a returning artist from Lewisburg WV. Take a look at her art that will be showcased at the Cooper Gallery of Fine Art.
