I read a post just this afternoon that made me think I ought to let you in on a secret that I have known about for many, many years.
CHOCOLATE
A couple I met years ago and fell in love with (them and their chocolate) keeps me from being less than I could be. Jeff Pollock and Linda own a gormet candy manufacturing business that started close to downtown Atlanta, Georgia. I knew the early owner, Ruth Thornburg, and later (after falling for the chocolate) became well aquainted with Jeff and Linda. Chocolate has always been a passion of mine and I had found that very special way of meeting that passion, mouth wide open.

I would call Linda or stop by to see if there were any mistakes to be had as I wanted to share the passion with as many as possible. She would fill a bag up, weigh it, and charge me next to nothing for the very best chocolate around. You see, they could not sell the mistakes (mostly visual) as they would only put the quality into the main line stores like Rich's Department Store (an Atlanta icon for decades). The quality of the taste I would share with friends, family, co-workers, etc. create avenues of new customers for the company to travel down.

I very seldom would get the fancy boxes or gift packages you see here.
The store moved into it current location to serve their customers in a much more efficient way, not having to deal with the downtown traffic near as much and following the growth pattern of the city.
They have evolved into a manufacturing facility that meets the need of the entire country being able to serve their customers through walk-ins, telephone orders, and now web based internet ordering.
Have an idea for speciality gift packages to meet a special clientelle, they can do it. Want to surprise that special someone, they can do it. Want to say thank you to someone in your business shere of influence, thay can do it.
You can contact them the following ways:

This sounds wonderful, I know where I'm stopping next time I'm over that way! My favorite and only "good" chocolate store in Athens, GA went out of business a few years ago and I miss great chocolate!
