My Buyer Died!

I was contacted by a lady to help her purchase a home.

We interacted by phone and email and finally she decided on a home to view.

Well she never showed up for that appointment but later called me to explain why.

So I kept sending her listings, but I stopped hearing from her so I assumed she decided not to buy anymore.

But that didn't fit her personality, she did call to explain why she didn't make it to our appoinment. A few weeks later I get a call from her daughter telling me that she died.

I was speechless. All I could do was offer my condolences. I hope that never happens again.

Sorry to hear that.  I've had a few just drop off like that and have  wondered if something like that had happened to them.  I guess sometimes you just never know.

That is awful, it does not happen often thank goodness, but it happened to me!  The house was picked out, wrote up the contract, faxed it to the gentleman, but did not get it back.......a few days later, found out why!  I could not handle another situation like that!  Hope it never happens to any of us.

That is so sad. Her daughter sounds like a very conscientious person - and I admire the fact that she honored her mother's memory by letting you know what happened.
