Diane and I went downtown Las Vegas, because her father used to talk about Binions, the Four Queens and many other great places. Needless to say in our search I told her about Robert Vegas Bob Swetz I told her he hangs out of Freemont Street with the Saxophone Player..... Needless to say we did not run into Robert Vegas Bob or the Saxophone player.
So we decided instead to go into the Four Queens since that was one of her father's hang outs. So if you have never been to Las Vegas you need to make the old treck to "Old Las Vegas" my take is it will not be much longer so if you are looking for history please check out Downtown.....
Needless to say the Four Queens has been around since 1966 and is a sister facility of the Binions Gambling organization:))))
It was a trip down memory lane in honor of Diane's Dad, ran into an old timer who has been visiting since day one the Four Queens Opened and listening to him was like hearing Diane's Dad... we asked how is the Binion's Steak... and of course he had good things to say as we said good by and headed back to our comfort zone....the Bellagio:))
