I finally got a chance to see one of the new construction homes at the corner of Chatfield and Gordon 
Terrace. The corner house itself, 855 Gordon Terrace, is listed for $2,949,000 and has 5 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths.
It's being billed as a contemporary farmhouse - the interior is sleek with lighter wood floors and cabinets that look like Mid-century Modern.
One cool feauture is that the kitchen island and some of the custom cutting boards were made of wood from trees that were cut down to make way for the property.
The basement has a full bar with its own beer brewing system (what if you don't drink beer?) Traditional decor is more popular here, so we'll see how it goes. But for the person who likes sleek, clean lines with no fuss, this could be for them.
