Time for my Annual Physical Examination

Time for my Annual Physical Examination

Today, Thursday,  is the date of my annual physical examination. You really do not need to know about this event but I hope that my actions will encourage you to also have an annual physical examination.

Getting you to follow my example on Friday may be more challenging because that is when I will have my next Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. I prefer to combine these procedures just to have them done on one visit rather than on separate visits. If your doctors recommend these procedures, have them done even though you may not look forward to them.

Take good care of yourself because others are also counting on your good health. If you live in Montgomery County, Maryland, I will be happy to recommend doctors.

I hope your exam goes well - and good luck with the colonoscopy - it is better than it used to be! I always remember a man I met who was on his way into NYC to have his colonoscopy when they closed the city for 9/11 - he had to turn around and go home - and reschedule for a later day

Such great advice, Roy. I'm sure you will get a great result from your annual checkup. You're smart to combine the two procedures you're having - it makes sense to go through the prep - once!

Your kind words are very much appreciated. My annual physical examination is complete and now all I need to do is to wait for the results of the blood tests. One of the benefits of living in Montgomery County, Maryland is that we have world class medical care and specialists for every possible need.

The Presidential medical exams certainly have helped keep this topic in the forefront too!  I know one thing, I'll be more emotionally healthy when this election is over!

Good to hear how responsible you are in regard to your annual physical exam, Roy.  It also speaks so well of you how you are always encouraging and motivating others - be it to check their fire alarm batteries, their clothes dryer, or to remind others to schedule or remember their yearly physical exam. Have a great evening.

Roy, I like what you are doing here as more folks need to be motivated to regularly see Dr's. I got my Endoscopy and Colonoscopy last August and I do not have to go back again for 10 years> Thank you LORD>>
