The second Ohio Bacon Fest will be held Friday September 9, 2016 at the Columbus Commons, 160 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
Bacon inspired dishes will be served by 20 vendors including 1803 Bacon, Porky's Pub, Great Lakes Brewing, Barrel and Boar and The Top Steak House among others.
The event costs $5.00 for general admission (children under 6 admitted free) and starts at 5 p.m. and ending at 10:30 p.m. The cost for dishes start at $3.00. There will be a bacon eating contest at approximately 7:30, competitors will have 5 minutes to consume as much bacon as they can. With a contest like that, how can there be any losers?
The event will also feature a hog roast, a mechanical riding pig, RP Hicks DJ will provide music from 5:00 to 5:45 and live music performances with Winnie Cooper Project Set, Trailer Park Ninjas and the Fabulous Johnson Brothers.
