The Mayor and City Council will issue an official proclamation at its November 22 meeting encouraging you to shop local this holiday season. Small Business Saturday on November 27 is a great time to start.
With the pandemic affecting area businesses, shopping local is more important than ever. When you spend locally, you not only give a boost to Gaithersburg’s locally owned and operated businesses, you’ll also reduce waste (think fewer shipping boxes) and save energy (less driving).
