- Riverfest 2008 is a FREE celebration of the Indian River Lagoon and the ecosystem, May 3rd and 4th, 2008. The Marine Discovery Center offers Research, Ecotours and Education. - Meals on Wheels 5K Run, May 3. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. at the LPGA Golf Course in Daytona Beach, FL. There will be refreshments and awards. For more information, call 386-253-4700.
- 2008 Miss Florida Pageant. This should be interesting to see live =) The pageant will take place at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, located at 399 North U.S.1, Ormond Beach, FL at 4:00 p.m. The cost is $35.00. You can obtain more information at 386-676-3378
