Some various trees from around. :)

Ok, Lisa.. here are some pics. They are not my garden, but of homes I see on the road while appraising.

I love date palms!!

I like the way the branches all split at the same 'levels'.. worth a pic!

Very neat to see these root hugging these rocks. They seem to get along well.
Something to play with in the future.. wrap those roots around some rocks!

I think roots are way cool... this is sideways..sorry ;^P

This one got toppled by Hurricane Wilma, down in Broward. yikes!
These trees take the roots out sideways, rather tha tap downward. I used to think it was from sprinkers,
but it could be those South Florida showers. I've noticed that people without sprinklers tend
to have trees that root deeper and better for hurricanes. It may just be specific to that type of tree.

Ahhh.. I love the Bismarkia. I think its grey or silver.. they are way cool and big fans can provide nice shade.
This lucky homeowner got it for free when the city lined the streets as part of bringing the neighborhood up! free=sweeeet

Some monster Agave's below.  I love em.

I'll take some in my garden today... check out the agave in front as a replacement for
the one in the back that is about to croak! He spiked up 25+ feet in an attempt to reproduce.
nature is way cool!

Nick! These are some of the coolest tree pics I have ever seen! I am in no way, shape or form in a "tropical" environment, so those trees that look like giant pineapples make me laugh!

Many of these trees look like they belong in dinosaur days ... DO you have any dinosaurs???

Thanks for the great pictures.  Those are some cool trees.  We don't have those up here.

Great pictures.  I especially like the pictures of the Bismarkia and the "pineapple" tree.  I've been to Florida a few times, and I'm always in awe of these great trees and plants.
