And they're off ...

Later this afternoon, they'll be running the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville - the first Saturday in May (I know, is it that time already?).

Good luck to all the horses - and trainers, jockeys, and fans.

Funny thing about the Kentucky Derby - as in other races and monumental activities in life - you can't win if you don't start the race, and you can't win the Triple Crown if you don't win today's race first.

I bet the atmosphere down there is tremendous.  Should be a fun race with no real favorite.

I think the rain is going to hold off.  Right now it is beautiful outside and I think it is going to stay that way.  Much different fromyesterday.
