Lenn,

If the global warming would kick in maybe we would have rain instead!  We've been getting killed in Iowa too.  We just got nailed with about 4 more inches of ice, sleet, rain, snow accompanied by thunder, lightening, and fog causing power outages, downed trees, damage to property from falling sheets of ice.  Maybe Al Gore would like to come shovel some of this global warming with me (ha ha).

Lucky :)

Hi Lenn - Is that view from your home?  Pretty surroundings, if it is.

The weather all over the place has been nothing short of weird, it seems to me anyway.  I know we had really warm weather up here for winter until about 3-4 weeks ago.  We've still had a pretty mild winter, relatively speaking.  Up until Valentine's Day, we'd only had about 2-3 inches of snow here in Portsmouth NH.  We got a foot of snow on Valentine's Day, and it's been cold ever since.  I'm hoping that little ground hog fella that predicted spring in 3 weeks from whenever he popped up was correct.  Sunshine is nice, and we've gotten lots of that, but I'd welcome slightly warmed temps up here about now.

Stay warm,
Ann

Ann and Lucky.

Thanks for commenting.

I just added an updated photo from 1:30 p.m.  Yes, that's the view from my front door.  It's lovely out here.  Of course, I have no TV today - weather.  My electricity went out night before last - wind.  My phone is out - who knows???

But, it sure is pretty.

Lenn - still snowing down there?  The weather report in tonight's news up here seemed to indicate it was.  We've still got remmants of our 12 inches on Valentine's Day here - it's now hard and crunchy when you walk on it.
