For any of you who know me, or have read my blog, you know that I was a guitar playing headbanger for more decades than I can remember. I love playing metal music, and I love a hot-handed guitar player. Jimi Hendrix and Joe Satriani are two of my all-time favorites, but I ran across someone today that is just as amazing. Mike Cooper the guitar was not mine. I was in Germany with my Guild F 50 acoustic and got to sit in with these guys, borrowing their guitar. I rocked a Fender Mustang for a little while. I sold it and my Fender Bandmaster to buy an engagement ring.

Hi Mike - Yep, she's good! Thanks - I'll check out more of her stuff. I'm a classical guy myself - played folk until I was 40 and then started lessons. Never had anything like real talent, though.

That sounds like fun, Dick. I should go take lessons. My wife has offered to teach me for 35 years, but I don't play enough any longer to make it a commitment to it.
