Nappanee, Indiana Apple Festival this Weekend.
If you were not aware that one of the largest festivals in Indiana was going on, you need to check out the Nappanee Apple Festival, taking place in downtown Nappanee, Indiana.
It's the 41st Annual Nappanee Apple Festival, known for the largest baked apple pie, weighing in at 600 pounds and will serve slices of over 800 pieces to the public over the 4 day period. The festival runs from 5 pm Thursday to 5 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016.
The festival features a parade, with military fly-over, 2 stages of entertainment, 130 craft vendors, 60 commercial booths, 25 Food booths, with many serving your favorite apple treats. Activities are in abundance, with carnival rides, apple eating and apple baking contests, Miss Apple Blossom Scholarship Pageant and much more.
