Texans love their wine and October 2016 is a month to celebrate our resources and enjoy our Texas wines! Independence Title’s website is a great resource to check out local wineries and wines you can expect to find! Click on this link ….it’s a wealth of information!

The list of places to go with family and friends is exciting! Plan on making time to participate in one or more of these events….so many venues to discover:

Texas Wine Month Trail - The 48 member wineries of the Texas Wine Trail will host events throughout the month.

25th Annual Fredericksburg Food and Wine Festival - A full course celebration of Texas food, wine and music in beautiful downtown MarktPlatz.

Murder is a Fine Art! At Kerrville Hills Winery - Help discover who killed The Great Radinski during a Halloween costume party for friends, relatives and admirers.

Bernhardt Winery Music Series - Live music from the Fab 5, Kevin Black, The Gentle Lamb Experience, Already Gone (an Eagles Tribute Band) and Johnny and the Spinsations.

Vine Day at Kiepersol Estates - Share the experience when staff and guests lovingly put the Kiepersol Estate vines to sleep for the season.  Join friends Kiepersol for the simplicity of Vine Day as a mariachi band lulls the vines into their winter nap and take in the crisp autumn air, wine in hand of course.

Austin Gray Hawn Exhibit at Fall Creek Vineyards - See a stunning new exhibit “Cowboy Heaven” from world renowned Texas photographer/artist Gray Hawn

Texas Fine Wine Dinner at Duchman Winery - Join guests at Duchman Winery for the 2nd annual Texas fine Wine Dinner featuring 4 of the TOP wineries in the state of Texas.  Enjoy a 4 course fall dinner menu from Chef Patrick each thoughtfully paired with a fantastic Texas wine.

Witches and Wine at Sugar Ridge Winery - Wear your best witch hat and ride your broom over to Sugar Ridge Winery for a glass of Texas wine.  Prizes for the best hat, broom and overall costume.

I love this! I used to live in Temecula Ca in wine country. Since moving here to Tx we haven't visited any Texas wineries or tried many Texas wines. We're going to have to try some of these!

Texas wine sounds good to me!  It seems I am not too picky when it comes to wine, is that a bad thing?
