YOU'RE SUCH A BABY

At what point do you find a newborn fascinating in an intimate way meaning where you are moved to play a part or interact and be stimulated as well as to stimulate? I describe my introduction to this and my interactions and to me, this is one of life's true treasures to pause & ponder on. To gaze on this is to view yourself in times gone by....

THEY ARE EVERYWHERE

People! Wherever you go, there they are and in droves too. The human being is a paradox in so many ways. Simple to engage or operate but complex when you start examining all the parts and how they work. Amazing to behold a baby from birth developing. I did so the other day and it is pleasurable

PURITY

My niece is now a one year old & a cutie pie. I was not a participator when she was born as I don't find it personally calling me at birth stage. At about the 1-2 year mark, I become fascinated with children & deeply enjoy them all the way to 6 years old easily. Purity of life from the maker of life is at work

BEHOLD

The innocence, honesty, realness and full character of transparency with simplicity and pleasure is upon anyone who observes let alone interacts with a little child. The fact they they have no ego, agenda, predicable behavior lends to the attraction and beckons to interaction. Think: sampling a sweet to taste

ONE OF A KIND

Every kid acts out the same growing up yet differently in a unique way. Sure, everyone hits one year old but they are not all the same except for being one years old. They are at the beginning & introduction of something unique, one of a kind never before seen or heard of. The mystique is very pleasurable

START-UP

I saw this little baby's fascination with things I would not look twice at. These very things that I take for granted, this little girl found to be exciting and want able. How? The staring at an object is their first tell. Something catches their eye and they stare. From there, anything can happen...

NO PLANNING

Some cry, some laugh while some jerk away and others reach out to further investigate but not with a determination but an innocence that has no willful drive but instead a allowed curiosity that is not even mature in thought. It is an exploring, unrehearsed & natural behavior similar to a flower unfolding.

SPONGES

At that age, everything comes to them. All their senses are alerted, activated as necessary and very stimulating all on their own following a mysterious order to develop via existence triggered by surroundings. In other words, no instructions yet. Just pure warm-up & stimulus. Pure life alive

LEARNING & DISCOVERY

Fine tuning instructions will come soon enough through exposure, repetition, trial and error, investigation & sampling at random using the touch, taste, sight, hearing and smell for road maps and prompts. The dynamics are under their own instructions while the child is allowed access to them

WHOSE TEACHING WHO?

Parents can direct, prompt and add too or take away from this process. You can learn so much about yourself from watching these children as observers. As parents, we sometimes get too involved in the working aspect and fail to marvel the big picture as the little one is all consuming when parenting.

FLOWING

My one year old niece wanted to walk instead of being carried by becoming antsy about being held. She learned to walk and walk she will along with touch and play randomly for the sake of just doing. No motives or planning, no agenda or arrival point, just flowing from moment to moment with ease of use

BABY TODAY...A ME TOMORROW

There you are when you are observing this. Yours was no different than what you see yet it kept its one of a kindness which would later become your specific identity revealed at some point in your adult life. You are not a baby any longer but you were one to be sure. One day, they wont be a baby either

LISTEN-UP

At the 2-6 years old age, kids are all-knowing, and get it right the first time without guilt or doubt. Error is not at work but discovery, adventure, sharing and expression is. Not only to they absorb but also input if they are listened to. I have heard profundity from children like if God was speaking

LEARN & UNLEARN

My niece likes to hum, touch, point, make nosies, stare and put things in her mouth for no good reason and for all good reason. You don't have to tell her to have fun, be herself or enjoy life. She is way ahead of you and doesn't know of these commands. One day she will learn to let go of them after learning them

LIFE LIVING

Just having been around this little doll has me writing a post without telling me to do so. She causes me to reflect and ponder without conversation. Just her being her age summons me to the moment for no reason but I prosper when I answer to this. I become moved, reminded and re-instructed in life living

WHY & HOW

I love the Q & A phase where they ask questions and I answer with them following it up and then I ask questions with them answering with me doing the following up. My little five year old asked what is this when we drove pass a cemetery where I told her people were buried and those stones have the names

YES TO WHAT YOU SEE & HEAR

She blurted out..I know why those stones are on top of the grave! She was excited, elated and wanted to share what she knew to be the definitive answer to this mystery given to her. Yes, what is that reason? Its to keep them down in there she said brimming with satisfaction. Yes, yes it so little one......lol

YOU'RE SUCH A BABY

At some point in your young start-up life, someone will have called you a little baby and at that time, you would have sulked, was upset & offended and refused this name calling even running to mom or dad to report this hurtful attack. But be advised, it was not always so
