The front of the home at Hyde Park
On our trip to the Hudson Valley we visited Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt’s home which is located in Hyde Park. We spent the better part of an afternoon there. It was lovely and we could have spent more time there. It is the home of the first Presidential Library. The Roosevelts truly loved this country and tried to improve the lives of the people living in the country. Though they were surrounded by luxury, they had their own personal hardships.
