The best laid plans...
Sometimes it seems no matter how well you plan ~ Life happens!
You can have the best checklist and appointment system ever, but that checklist of yours forgot to check in with the rest of your family or the rest of the world.. before it gives that smirk of:
I know this week I am going to get all this list checked off!
Have you ever woken up in the morning ready to conquer the world then sometime before the sun sets it appears the world had other plans?
I love to write. I love to blog. I love to help you with your questions about AR, marketing, branding, SEO, websites, virtual assistants, etc. etc. ... or just be a listening ear.
I went on vacation for a week to the most amazing northern mountains in Utah, in Logan. Love that place! I went on a hike that I had made up my mind, as a super out of shape person, that I would make it to the top of that 900 feet include of 1.8 miles up and back down. I did make it to the top! The wind caves were amazing.
During that time I promised myself I would work only on things that needed my immediate attention and the rest of the time I would enjoy nature and those amazing views around Cache National Forest.
You see, about one week before I left for vacation, the virtual assistant company I had been using for over 8 years closed down and myself and my clients were without the help we were so used to getting. It was in the middle of the night when I made the decision after discussing it with Nestor and Tristan ~ that I would take the plunge and take reigns of the virtual assistant tasks, hire the people we needed and let our clients know we are there for them to pick up and improve the customer service.
So all this happens.. not to mention the flight delay on the way to Utah ... that is another story...
We come back home. The new company is coming together, I am recruting talent and have new clients jumping on board.
So I go out last Saturday to remove a plant out of one of our large clay pots... in order to replace it with a better suited plant. It took me like 2 hours to dig around the root ball, pull, tug, cut with the pitch fork, fight and fight some more. Finally I prevailed, but my back did not!
The plant gets the best of me and I have been down with this nasty sciatica nerve pain shooting up my body whenever I sit down or move. The best thing to do is walk. I wish I had one of those adjustable standing desks about now! So I pace back and forth around the house, can't bend down, and can't move quickly.
I have not been able to get used to writing a post while standing up. Not the way my brain works...
So my checklist is not getting marked off quickly this week as I had planned. My goals this week are not getting reached...
But that's ok. There is next week!
