May 12-16, California Bike Commute Week

Is traffic congestion in the city driving you crazy?  When I drive around Pasadena, I am surprised with the increase in cars, and the constant road construction does not help either.

The state is putting an effort to encourage commuters to use an alternative method of transportation, yes, using your bicycle.  By taking the bike to work, drivers may just learn a new knowledge towards commuting.

Not all riders are confident.  Like me, I do ride a bicycle but very nervous around cars especially through busy streets.  There is the League of American Bicyclists has certified instructors to teach BikeEd.

May is also National Bike Month, to know that bicyclists and drivers share the "same roads, same rules, and same rights."  Remember, the bicyclist has same responsibilities as motorist.  Be Cycle Safe when you are on the road.

Realtors, give up our cars for a day and take the bike out to town.
