The Mosaic Steps in San Francisco are Worth a Visit

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Thanks to Lottie Kendall, I finally made it to see the Mosaic steps in San Francisco. My husband wanted to push off that excursion to our last day there, but that's when I had scheduled a massage, and we would not have gone. It would have been dangerously too close to our departure time to catch the B.A.R.T. to Richmond.

Come to think of it, that's probably why he wanted to delay that tourist attraction. Because he preferred instead to go an early dim sum in Chinatown. That way he could sound like he was in favor of the trip but it would not happen. But as these things go, you know what we did.

You can read more in my personal blog today and see all of the photographs, including a suprise bonus I was not expecting, at this link: The Mosaic Stairs in San Francisco Offers Panoramic Views.

Susan Haughton That is my panoramic photo shot with my iPhone, of all things, from the top Turtle Hill, part of an old sand dune.

This is a tourist attraction I missed on my trip to San Francisco.  Must make a list of things to do and see next trip.

Chris Ann Cleland There are so many exciting things to do in San Francisco, even people who live there probably can't do them all.

I thought I knew San Francisco pretty well, but I had never heard of the mosaic steps.  I'm going to have to visit them one day!

Michael Jacobs Yeah, I wish we had more time. We had a dinner engagement to make, and there was still dim sum that day, LOL.

Hi Elizabeth - I'm glad you enjoyed the mosaic steps and Grand View Park. Did you know there's another mosaic staircase about at 16th and Kirkham, about 3 blocks away from the set you climbed? This City is full of surprises! Next time -- coffee date!

Lottie Kendall I thought about you as we headed off to the steps, but didn't know if you would want to meet us last minute for dim sum. I'm sorry, I should have called. We had a really tight schedule on this trip.
