Implementing a new website

I have recently made a decision to switch my main website hosting from AdvancedAccess to RealPro.  I have worked with AdvancedAccess for 4 years and my site is highly ranked by search engines in my local area.

I am keeping the same domain name, and the new sight will go active in the next week or so.  I have always submitted changes to my website to DMOZ.org (the Open Directory Project).

I believe the new tools and features of the Realpro site will enhance my business.  A discussion came out of this change in my office.  One Realtor had finally started a website and is just now getting it online.  When she heard about the Realpro site, she thought about adding one to her business.  Another Realtor brought up great point, how do you plan on merging the new site into their business.

I believe this is very important point.  I made the chane to my web strategy after using the same site for 4 years.  I researched the decision for 8 months prior to making a final decision.  If you have a reasonable successful real estate practive make small changes to your business, not wholesale changes.  Coach Phil from Hobbs/Herder recently wrote an article on this subject.  Coach Phil discussed making little changes at a time and in the long term you would see significant changes.

This is my goal....Make changes and modernize, systemize my business as it grows, in small steps.  I believe the RealPro site will be the right step.

Eric, Congratulations on your new web site! The more you post on Active Rain, the more traffic you are going to produce on your site. This has been an amazing experience for me so far. I have had 3 referrals so far, and getting some "fairly decent google juice" from my blog.

It has been a learn as you go experience, for sure. Posting is now a part time job for me and a challange to keep up with. I have not missed a day in a few months and I am plugging away, slowly but surely.

Best of luck and keep up the good work! Give the family a kiss!

Eric, I just made a visit to your new web site. It's so nice! I love the on line newsletter format and your pictures are wonderful!  I also like the fading in and out of your information on the headers! Way to go!
