You Only Pass This Way . . . . One Time

Every man dies, but not every man lives.”

Garth Brooks, Entertainer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You pass this way . . . . one time

This is not a dress rehearsal . . . . this is the real thing.

You can choose to grasp the opportunities that you have . . . .  create new possibilities . . . . and extend your reach . . . . Or You can wait to see what happens.

Life is a series of experiences. You will encounter both setbacks . . . . and achievements on your success journey. There will be times that you will have to take calculated risks . . . . and at times that you miss opportunity by not taking action. You will reach the highest of highs . . . . and the lowest of lows. But with each experience comes the life lessons . . . . that can become the stepping stone for living a full prosperous life.

When you have a setback you can shake it off . . . . and push forward in the direction of your goals . . . . and objectives. Or you can sit where you are . . . . and nurse your wounds.

Life is not perfect . . . . and you will make mistakes along the way. There will be a time that you may feel that life is not treating you fairly . . . . but in reality is life is not always fair.

Life is what you make it . . . .

You will have bumps and bruises to show for your efforts of pushing forward . . . . they are a very small price to pay for progress. The bumps and bruises . . . . are the tolls we paid on your success journey. Paying those tolls take you to a higher level of achievement . . . . and moves you closer to your goals.

To live a full and prosperous life is not sitting under a shade tree in the summer heat  . . . . or sitting next to a fireplace on a cold winter’s night.

Living a full and prosperous life comes in trying to be the best that you can be. It comes in extending yourself out of your comfort zone . . . . It’s about picking yourself up after you have been knocked down . . . . and trying and trying again until you succeed after a setback.

You pass this way . . . . one time. Make the journey a master piece one that worth living . . . . and one that your willing to put you signature on.

Yes Lou so true, this is not a dress rehearsal.  Reminds me of phrase from a Pink Floyd song "no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun".  That line impacted me in high school... that it is up to me to do what I want and to be the best I can, since everyone else is focused on their own thing...just as you are saying here.

All the best.

Lou,

I heard a saying recently that went something like this, "when you die, what if that light you see at the end of the tunnel is you being born again." It was a bit more anatomically descriptive, but I'll leave that to your imagination.

Rich
