Why Do People Live here?

The Atlas District is a great place to be right now. It's nestled inside four different areas that have a lot happening, which in turn means the neighborhood should be impacted in a positive way, which the home prices have been steadily reflecting. You have the H Street Corridor that is blossoming with tons of development, the Union Station plans that should bring in a ton more retail and commercial space to the East, the ever popular Union Market that is turning into a weekend haven for residents, and Trinidad, where homes are being renovated almost as quickly as people can buy them.

What's the Neighborhood Like?

The south of the Atlas District is where a majority of the retail, restaurants and grocery stores will be found. While most of the properties are homes, there have been a fair amount of condo conversions over the past few years, which has produced homes with a wide range of prices. On the smaller side, you can find some properties in the mid-300s all the way up to over $1 million dollars.

• Best Time to Go: Porker Street Block Party - The small street or Parker Street blows the roof off of the neighborhood each year in the fall when they host the "Porker Street" party. With a whole pig being cooked up and beverages being served, it's certainly not one to miss
