Cinco de Mayo in San Diego!

Cinco de Mayo is this Monday!

Time for fiestas, burritos, and cervezas! All the different little cities in North County San Diego have their ownhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/deed.en celebrations. Many are celebrating this weekend!

Cinco de Mayo is especially celebrated in San Diego, because we are so closer to the Mexican boarder and Mexico is part of San Diego’s history. Old Town, which is 30 minutes south of North County is a remarkable experience with parks, little boutiques, and a plethora of restaurants.

My favorite restaurant Casa de Pico, which use to be in Old Town, is now located in La Mesa.  Casa de Pico is a must, at least once in your lifetime. The food is authentic and exceptionally good.  Plus the service is very fast and friendly. 

So everybody enjoy you Cinco de Mayo weekend!
