Our Ventura community encourages a love of the arts. Exercise offers profound benefits for your physical health. But, you should not neglect your mental health either. Events like ArtWalk Ventura 2016 help you see how our local artists stretch their minds to their limits.
More than 30 galleries bring the work of over 700 local talented artists directly to you at ArtWalk Ventura 2016. Come see the mural that Mexican "Global Artist of Distinction" Rolando Siguenza worked on with local Ventura "Artist of Distinction" MB Hanrahan and muralist Uriel Leon. His exhibit can be found at the Vita Art Center (432 N Ventura Ave).
ArtWalk Ventura 2016 Feast for the Senses
Art comes in many forms. Some art appeals to the eyes while others stimulate the ears. ArtWalk Ventura 2016 hits both spots. While you visit the visual artists displaying their works in different media, enjoy live performances by musicians and dancers throughout the day. You'll find these acts performing on the main stage located at California St and Santa Clara St.
ArtWalk Ventura 2016 Bowl Hop
The Bowl Hop is back! Visit the Bowl Hop tent located at California and Main St on Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. For just $25 per bowl, guests sample amazing food from local restaurants. Proceeds from the Bowl Hop benefit Project Understanding's Food Pantry. Project Understanding has helped low income and homeless individuals and families in the Ventura area since 1977. Their food pantry feeds approximately 1,000 Ventura residents each and every month.
