Love is Everywhere in North Reading!

I know this reminds people of some famous quotes - like I love NY!

However, this is true. So true!

I love North Reading.

When we moved to North Reading in 2001, it was more of a compromise.

We wanted to move to Andover, mainly for schools.

My children were young then - going to elementary and middle schools.

However, looking at the prices at that time,

Andover was out of my reach.

Specially I was looking for very spacious home.

And realized that North Reading also has equally good school district, if not better than Andover.

And after 3-months search, I saw & fell in love with my home.

No looking back since then.

Over the period of last 15+ years, I realized, my town has a lot to offer.

It begins with one of the BEST libraries!

Flint Memorial Library.

Not only the size and number of books,

but also for lots of activities held at the library.

And extended hours in Summer, too.

Summer is fun in North Reading.

Farmer's Market from June to September

is another attraction.

I have written about this in few of my Localism posts.

Now there are many additional activities at Farmer's market.

This includes live band from local talent, too.

And should I mention about the Ipswich River Park?

Off-late, my evening walks are reduced.

However I'll see young and old alike

Strolling in the park everyday.

Now please don't  at this if I say....

We have Wal-mart in our town!

Now I am not that crazy about it.

I have heard from some friends that we are lucky, just because.....

(People love shopping at Wal-mart!

And that may not be a sign of luxury.

However, it is something that many families desire to have in their town.)
