We had only 9 closings this week, a significant drop from the 16 of last week but the same as we had two weeks ago. Of the homes that closed this week the average days on market was 89 days (looks a lot better than last week’s 140 days doesn’t it! (Don’t forget last week we had a couple of homes clear that had been on the market for over a year each).
The chart above is the total MLS activity for the week. This includes ALL types of properties as well as all cities in our MLS. The chart below is very restrictive as explained below.
Be sure to note the line above as this is a very restrictive report. There were only 9 homes sold in this limited category. The most expensive home sold for $431,000 and it was on the market for 26 days. The least expensive home sold for $119,000 and it was on the market for 196 days. Average days on market for the 9 homes sold was 89. Of the homes sold the average price per square foot (total square footage) was $109.90.
