We all have memories of the first time we did something big in real estate, probably, but not necessarily, as newbies. This challenge is about sharing your story with the rest of us of your first interaction with a client or customer (or someone else’s) that left an indelible mark on your psyche.
It doesn’t matter what field you are in. It could be your first listing appointment, your first home inspection, your first staging presentation, your first Open House or your first settlement.
- What happened?
- Were you terrified or totally confident?
- Did you actually have any idea what you were doing?
- Was there help from a broker-in-charge or mentor there to help you, and did they actually help?
- Were any old pros involved, and were they nice or were they stinkers?
- Did it have a happy ending?
- What did you learn?
Don’t be afraid to make us laugh or cry.
And of course there will be points 1000 bonus points rewarded, with extras for the top three:
- First Place 3000 points
- Second Place 2000 points
- Third Place: 1000 points
Your post should be at least 400 words, though we’re not going to count them unless you wind up in the top 3! The post must be your original content. And your posts are due by midnight Halloween, Pacific time. That’s October 31, 2016. For your post to be included, you must give us a link to your entry in the comments section of this post.
And here are the intrepid bloggers who are serving as our judges:
Lise Howe
Noah Seidenberg
Debe Maxwell
So go back down Memory Lane, and come up with the story that you will never forget! More important, have fun with it!
