Karen Anne Stone May She Rest in Peace -
Remembering Her Wit & Wisdom

If you "knew" Karen Anne, you knew her. She didn't pull any punches when she had an opinion - that's for sure.

Please share a memory of Karen Anne or an anecdote so those who never "met" her will get a flavor of her remarkable personality.

Here is a quote from her Profile:

'The majority of  [my] business is with people who are either
referred to [me] by ... past clients or introduced to [me] by [my]
"Sphere of Influence..."  which is a fancy phrase for all the people
who know [me], and of course, who like and trust [me] enough to
introduce their own friends and family members to [me] when
they have "real estate needs."

When that happens, [I am] honored by it, and do [my] very best to
show them that [I] respect, appreciate, and deserve their trust.
By the way... [I prefer] to call ... "sphere of influence"  ...
"sphere of relationships."'

My anecdote about Karen Anne is why I think of her often. She, scoffingly, corrected me when I said I was writing a Blog. No, she stated, emphatically, "you write a POST not a Blog!!"

So always, in conversations or in writing, I carry Karen Anne's  correction inside my brain: writing a POST!

Thanks for sharing this Lynn, so many of us have been awaiting news of her fate and hoping for a recovery.

I still remember being one of the first to come upon her final post late the night before her surgery.  She shared her fear in the post and it was a well founded fear in that her life was not the same again.

Said a prayer for her that night and several times since then, and will again tonight.

Thanks for sharing this update Lynn.

I looked forward to her posts and I've missed her being here. I think of her often, wondering what happened and whether she would suddenly show up again one day. I still wonder what the last three years were like for her. At least now I know she is no longer in pain and free from suffering.

Lynn I did not follow Karen Anne's blog but she commented on my several times.  She was a very active and outspoken member and will be missed by many.

Lynn- I do remember her last post.  But what I remember most was her honesty in her comments.  I so looked forward to reading her comments whether or not she left them on my post or others.

Hello Lynn

Thanks for putting this post out and actually someone re-blogged this post!

I always loved commenting back and form with Karen many years ago very late at night and she has been and will continue to be missed by many.
