4th quarter will be a stepping stone to a productive 2017 1st quarter
I am loving seeing all the great plans being shared this month as we earn a few contest points while reviewing our goals and get ready to finish the year strong.
I like the contest Bob Crane came up with to make sure 4th quarter ends the year on a strong note plus encouraging us to kick our blogging efforts into high gear! “How am I doing” is a great question to ask ourselves at the beginning of 4th quarter. I ask that question every quarter and actually every month. I set goals each year and then measure them monthly to see if I’m on track or need to make adjustments to ensure I’ll finish the year to meet my expectations.
My business model has been changing by design to 75% listings and 25% buyer sales. In years past it was 60% /40%. I’ve learned a lot in Active Rain and I subscribe to the Barbara Todaro philosophy of list, list, list and control the market. I’ve beefed up my print campaigns, my blogging efforts, personal involvement in community events, and making an extra effort in contacting past, present and new clients. It’s working!
After review, I’m right on target for my sales volume and anticipated revenue for the year. To ensure I reach my goals:
1. I’m making sure I’m leaving no stone unturned to continue to list homes in October and November. That’s right I’m calling, emailing, holding open houses and making a point to network.
2. I’m kicking blogging into high gear on events I’m sponsoring in October and December in the community and creating statistical reports. There are 9 contract/pending homes in my community and 5 are my listings so I’m capitalizing on my distinctive rate capture to obtain future listings.
3. Fall is the perfect time to reach out to my sphere with all the holiday events. I have so many reasons to express my gratitude it’s an excellent time to show others how much they mean to me.
4. I’m continuing my “beefed up” plan for on and off line marketing right through the holidays! All stops are out and 1st quarter will catch the spill over. I'm marketing like I mean it!
I’m sure we will see backlash from the elections in November but I refuse to get sidetracked and am staying focused on my business plan. I’ve been blessed with good health, a wonderful family and continued success in real estate...life is good!
