In general, you can expect to pay a premium for Mason condos when compared to communities further away from Cincinnati, although there is diminished opportunity for condos as you head away from Cincinnati.

So what do the stats indicate about Mason Ohio condo sales?
Key takeaways this month:
- September was VERY similar to August. The number of home sold, the same. Average prices? Only changed by $500. Median prices? Only changed by $500. Seriously, that's about as close to identical as we can get!
- On the other hand, the number of condos not under contract shrunk even further, and the number under contract dropped slightly. It's REALLY tough to be a buyer as there may be ZERO condos for sale that fit a particular buyer's needs.No change here, inventory continues to be REALLY short.
- 1 condo sold below $100k and 6 above $200k.
- 25 completed sales is another good month, continuing the run of months above 20. With 32 under contract, we should keep that streak going into next month.
- This bears repeating from past months: there ARE some new construction opportunities not reflected in the 27 condos for sale, but they're going to cost you around $300,000 or more. Lakeside Cove, Fox Hollow and Beacon Hill offer new construction opportunities if you've got the budget for them. Fyi, Lakeside Cove has poured all their foundations and is almost done with the community. - Distressed condos (foreclosures and short sales) for sale continue to be almost nonexistent. None sold last month and one short sale is currently not under contract and for sale. Mason condo buyers insisting on buying a distressed property are likely to be VERY disappointed.
So what does this mean to you as a Mason Ohio condo owner?
NO CHANGE: The low inventory can really work in your favor if you're willing to sell your condo. Updated condos will generally sell faster and those in the $100-200k range will move best. Some communities take longer than others to sell as price point and HOA fees/amenities, age of the unit, etc. can have significant influence on demand.
