Would Your Wife Allow This At Your Home, A Day in the Life of A Realtor
I am involved in a short-sale where I seem to have to be a little pro-active in order to secure my own paycheck. I’m not sure if most Realtors would do this and if they did probably would pay someone in hopes of getting it back in saving time. Me, on the other hand, being in the construction trade over the last 28 years as well, didn’t seem to bother me as much. The question is one is suppose to become wiser over the years by using their head and not their back so I’m told.
Anyhow, after losing the first investor, waiting for the squatters to vacate, climbing through the window, because they changed the locks, cleaning out the?, I was left with a dilemma. Oh!! did I tell you the wife spent ¾ of her weekend helping me too. Next you will know why. The decision was should I clean the crap out and/or where would I take it on such short notice. Well you guessed it, took it to my house, Insane right??? The reason is our bulk pick-up is on Monday and the property where it came out of had theirs on Thursday.
After three loads, also removing the carpet, mattresses etc., and hearing my wife moan all day cleaning someone else’s filth, I’m hoping for a pleasant outcome soon. That following week we got multiple offers and a few of them way over list higher than the 1st buyer. We are approved again, shooting for a quick closing.
Wish me luck, not for the closing, but that my wife keeps me…
