Tuscan Countryside

We spent 8 days in Tuscany a couple of years ago, about 45 minutes outside of Florence. In contrast to many other vacations where we spent so much time bustling around trying to see as much as possible, this trip was far more relaxed...and badly needed.

Tuscan Countryside

The focus was on relaxation, enjoying beautiful scenery, and exploring some of the small towns nearby including some fabulous restaurants at our leisure. I don't even remember specifically where this was taken, but it doesn't matter, does it?!

Beautiful countryside, Jeff. There is something magical about Italy, and I would love to spend time in Tuscany. It's such a big country to explore. We didn't get much further than the area from Sorrento to Florence. Still have Tuscany on my list of places to go. Just to slowly poke around towns and pig out would be heaven.

Definitely go Grant Schneider The Chianti region of Tuscany, where we were, was spectacular, but then there are many other beautiful parts of Italy to experience.

Hi Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents - it IS a magical place and always fun to visit. We still have so much to explore there, but thus far Tuscany is tops on my list. It was really nice to spend so much time just enjoying life in Italy, great food, and not rushing around. I'm ready to go again!

Belinda Spillman - there was beautiful scenery at every turn. It wasn't hard to decide on what to take photos of. It WAS one of the better trips as far a relaxing goes.

Hi Sheila Anderson - that's exactly what it was. When the mood suited, we went out and just drove around, and happened upon restaurants for lunch that worked. IT was suh a pleasure to do things that way.
