I put my boat in the water today. It was great. She Runs like a champ, of course she should, she is only a 2007 Crownline. I spoke with my dealer today he owns Pinecrest Marina here in Cedar Lake. He and his other salesperson that works with him was telling me they have already sold alot of big boats this year. 23-27 footers.
Now I thought gas was high, maybe it is just me!!!  People that have money are still spending and I believe the same in real estate.  What are your thoughts in your area? Happy Spring and Summer Everyone. I will post pictures of my boat later.. Paula

We have very high paying engineering jobs here in our city with people who are trying to get their homes sold in other areas before they can get one here in Cedar Rapids. Our market is strong here.

That is true!  We can't forget the little guy though.  Hey when are you going to invite me up for a ride on the boat?  Have fun!

Making dreams come true one home at a time!

Gas is high!  I just spent 5 days at Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mohave here in Arizona.  Gas for the boat-$200, Motel Room-$325, Food and beverages-$100, 5 days off from real estate-Priceless!!!!

Yes, there are still those with money who want to buy.  But many buyers are still sitting on the sidelines waiting for the market to hit bottom, which should be just about the same time Lake Mead dries up.

Actually, our market has picked up, as it usually does this time of year.  I hope it contunues to improve through the summer.

I too just got my 24 foot pontoon boat in the water on Lake Harmony in tghe Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains.  Gas is expensive but you have to make choices.  I also have a Four Winds Horizon 190 but that is staying in storage and for sale.  We used it as a ski boat with the main water skiers in the family out of the area combined with gas prices, its for sale.   Prioritized the smooth riding party boat over the sports car - never ezpected to come down to wanting to make such a choice a few years ago.
