New Garden

By

So this weekend I spent the day at home doing some spring cleaning. First was the garage then it was the garden. Now I don't have a green thumb so I try to stay away from flowers or any pretty plants. But my fathter in law insisted I get something to bring it some color. We went to home depot together and went looking. I don't know the difference between Perinals vs. Annuals. He went to explain Perinals bloom all year round, where annuals are sesonal.

Here are some of the flowers we went with. orangeyellow

I plan on putting in  some more, but for now we will stay with this. If anyone has any other suggestions that are low maintance. Please feel free to leave them in the comment section with a picture of what the flower looks like! I would love to plant them. Once my flowers start to grow I will post it here of how it turned out. Thanks for your suggestions!!

Hello Jeannette, I plan on putting in flowers in my flower bed this week as well. What works well and look nice are petunias and caladiums. You can buy it at Lowes or Home Depot. Both are very low maintance.

I just put in a bunch of calediums even though last year's calediums are peeking through.  Love the colors of your flowers.  They look great and I know flowers always make me feel good!  Thanks for sharing.

Jeannette, anything with color works. Looks like some good selections that you made.
