Featured Images on ActiveRain - Me Likey!
So there's a new feature on ActiveRain. Or should I say there's a feature on ActiveRain that's new to me! :)
The Featured Image. I think the Featured Image is a great idea and is a very good thing for our blogs and ActiveRain as a whole. If you're familiar with online activity, and who isn't, you know that pictures are HUGE (I just heard Donald Trump in my head when I wrote that...) for getting viewer/reader attention, and getting Google attention.
I've made it my personal goal to add a Feature Image to all my new blogs. I've even contemplated going back to previous posts as well, although that's a ton o' work, Jacky-boy!
I think for now I will just make it a new habit and see how it goes.....
I also think it was good to include them across the board, like re-blogs for instance. It gives the re-blogger a chance to add a visual to what the blog meant to them. How do you feel about the Featured Image? Any thoughts or revelations?
