We've been shopping at the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op since we first moved to Sacramento some 14 years ago. We used to shop at the Whittier Co-Op in Minneapolis, because my husband insists on organic food. When I use the collective word "we" I really mean my husband because he is the grocery food shopper in our family.
I intensely dislike shopping for groceries. I have to do it when he goes out of town, and it's an awful chore. Although, it's not so bad at the new location for our Sacramento co-op in Midtown. This co-op has been around since 1973, and it spent 43 years at its old location on Alhambra before moving into its new Midtown digs last week.
